World Economic Forum on the Middle East 2008

Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, 17-19 May 2008

Sharm El SheikhThe challenges currently facing the Middle East are now well known. Less well understood are the alternative futures for the region under various scenarios, and what these mean for policy-makers and business leaders today.

Participants will be exposed to visionary leaders and will explore future opportunities in areas such as IT, natural resources, security, and arts and culture. The programme will also link the Middle East with the latest thinking on broader global issues.

Co-Chairs

Mohammed Alshaya, Chairman, Alshaya Group, Kuwait
Jimmy Wales, Founder and Chair Emeritus, Wikia, USA
