GHI Partners

Forming partnerships between private businesses and the public sector to tackle HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria and Health Systems is at the heart of what GHI does. The GHI is one of the most experiences, effective and results-focused organizations working in this arena. Our initiative delivers tangible results that benefit both communities and businesses. We have long standing relationships with key organizations, and our partners include:

Private Sector:
We work with World Economic Forum’s 1’000 members and partners companies. Our initiatives currently involve companies such as Accenture, BCG, Becton Dickinson, Eli Lilly, Eskom, Heineken, Ketchum, Merck & Co., Pfizer Incl, Reliance Industries, Volkswagen, WPP and Unilever.

UN Agencies and International Organizations:
We partner with a number of agencies and organisations to ensure maximum sysnergy and impact on common goals. In particular we work with UNAIDS, WHO, UNICEF and the World Bank.

Governments and Governmental Agencies:
The GHI works closely with governments and agencies around the world, including SIDA (Swedish International Development Agency), GTZ (a German international cooperation agency for sustainable development) and USAID (United States Agency for International Development).

Civil Society:
To optimise local impact, we engage non-governmental agencies such as the Africa Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF), Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) and Oxfam.
