Juliana Chan received a Ph.D. in Biology from MIT, USA and a M.A., B.A. (First Class Hons.) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, UK. Juliana is a recipient of the 2011 L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science National Fellowships and the 2013 Singapore Youth Award. In 2014, she was named by MIT Technology Review as one of the 10 Innovators Under 35 (Asia and Australasia). She is Editor-in-Chief of Asian Scientist Magazine, as well as Nanyang Assistant Professor at Singapore's Nanyang Technological University and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
